We continue to pump from Well #3.  We have received a few complaints about cloudy water.  The Water Operator states that cold water holds more trapped air than warm water.  Pressure builds as the water travels from the ground through the pipes, and when it comes out of your faucet, it may appear cloudy.  If you let it sit, the water will settle, and the bubbles will rise to the top. This is like a glass of soda settling, with bubbles rising to the top.  If your water is sputtering, let it run a bit until the air works its way through.

Well #3 will be started within the next hour. Please note that water from Well #3 flows in the opposite direction of the interconnect flow, which means there is a possibility of discolored water.  We will report updates as we receive them.  Please contact the borough Water Operator, Ken Fulford, at 610-216-0150 with any water-related questions or concerns.
